South Ward School Site Ghost Hunt

The South Ward School Site at the Clearwater Historical Society, 610 S. Fort Harrison Ave., is the oldest public school ground in Pinellas County. Public education in Clearwater began here in 1874. The original 1906 masonry building still stands. The school operated for over 125 years before closing in 2008 and has been preserved by the Clearwater Historical Society ever since. 

Across multiple independent investigations, the same names have been repeated. Near the former kindergarten classroom, child-like responses have been recorded — including requests for crayons and, on separate occasions, correctly identifying the color of the crayon being held. Guests who have sung to the children present have recorded REM-Pod activations in direct response to the music. These findings are documented, repeated, and consistent. 

The investigation runs six hours with a maximum of 15 guests. Small group size is intentional — it allows focused investigation and direct interaction with Silent Slayer's professional paranormal investigators throughout the night.

No prior investigation experience is needed. Silent Slayer's professional team leads every session and explains each piece of equipment before use. Serious investigators and first-timers investigate side by side. Guests must be 18 or older to attend.
