Jack Kerouac House Ghost Hunt

Jack Kerouac House exterior Silent Slayer paranormal investigation

Exclusive After-Hours Paranormal Investigation / ST. Petersburg, FL / Famous Author's Home

A house is a very different place after dark than it is when Kerouac was alive in it. He left in 1969. We're not convinced everything else did.

The Jack Kerouac House has been virtually unchanged since 1963. The furniture, the records, the piano — they're the same pieces Jack, Stella, and Gabrielle lived among. And across multiple investigations, our Silent Slayer paranormal team has recorded consistent REM-Pod activity, cat balls on the piano lighting up on their own, a trigger object's paws lighting up in response, and Estes Method sessions that feel less like an investigation and more like a party where guests keep arriving.

These are not isolated incidents. They are documented, repeated, and consistent.

Five hours. 10 guests. 25+ pieces of professional equipment. Estes Method and Portal sessions included. Suitable for first-time investigators and seasoned ghost hunters alike.

This is one of the most limited events on our calendar — a private historic home, not a public venue.

Ages 18 and older. Limited to 10 guests. From $149 per person.

Frequently Asked Questions

Three bedrooms, three bathrooms, mid-century home with a big porch and fenced backyard. The house is virtually unchanged in and out since 1963. Many of the furnishings and other items in the house belonged to the Kerouacs, so anyone staying there must behave accordingly — as if the chairs you're sitting on and the records you're playing are artifacts, because they are.

Across multiple investigations, our team has recorded consistent REM-Pod activity, cat balls on the piano lighting up on their own, a trigger object's paws lighting up in response, and Estes Method sessions that feel less like an investigation and more like a party where guests keep arriving.

The investigation runs five hours with a maximum of 10 guests. Small group size is intentional — it allows focused investigation and direct interaction with Silent Slayer's professional paranormal investigators throughout the night.

All equipment is provided and included in your ticket — no upgrades required. The setup includes the Alice Box, Ovilus, SLS Camera, Portal, Spirit Boxes, MEL Meter, REM-Pod, EVP Recorder, Dead Bell, BooBuddy Jr., dowsing rods, and trigger objects. It is one of the most comprehensive setups available on any public ghost hunt in Florida.

No prior investigation experience is needed. Silent Slayer's professional team leads every session and explains each piece of equipment before use. Serious investigators and first-timers investigate side by side. Guests must be 18 or older to attend.
