South Ward School Site
Public education in Clearwater began on this ground in 1874. The South Ward School Site has been standing ever since — through more than a century of students, teachers, and everything that accumulates inside a building that never quite lets go of its past.
The Clearwater Historical Society has preserved this property since the school closed in 2008 after 125 years of continuous operation. Silent Slayer is one of the few outside operators permitted inside after dark.
